Filling up the Logbook of Diversified Experience in Architecture


Are you taking the Architecture Board Exams? The Logbook of Diversified Experience in Architecture (DEA or DAE) is a requirement prior to taking the board exams. It consists of minimum 3,840 hours, equivalent to two-years of various field of architectural practice which a board applicant must have undergone to prepare themselves for the exam. Here is a presentation on the meaning of DEA or DAE and how to fill-up the logbook.

In this video, you can learn how to compute for the Allowable Maximum Building Footprint (AMBF), allowable maximum Percentage of Site Occupancy (PSO), allowable minimum Total Open Space within Lot (TOSL), allowable maximum Impervious Surface Area (ISA), allowable minimum Unpaved Surface Area (USA), Maximum Allowable Construction Area (MACA), allowable maximum Gross Floor Area (GFA) and allowable maximum Total Gross Floor Area (TGFA) based on the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR) of the National Building Code of the Philippines (NBCP).
