Filling up the Diversified Logbook Form

There had been numerous questions on how to properly fill-up the form of the Diversified Logbook required for the Architecture Licensure Examinations (ALE). Here's my presentation in one of the seminars conducted by the UAP Graduate Auxiliary last year geared to all those taking the board exams. Hope this can help.

  4. Does experience in California, USA under supervision of AIA (American Registered Architect) Architect count as experience for the logbook? and if so, does it requires architect's dry seal or wet seal will suffice? My supervising architect does not have a dry (embossed) seal stamp. I am planning to take the board on June 2013 and wanted to make sure I will qualify.

  11. I work in the office which is not a construction company but has its own engineering department and the head is a licensed civil engineer, but the architect is freelance lang. Would that be possible if i can have my LDEA from that registered architect? somehow i work as a draftsman and on-site inspector of the company. (Im just confused and lost. Sorry.

  17. Good day. I have questions po na nahihirapan akong hanapan ng sagot..Marami na akong npagtanungan and iba iba sinasabi nila..Kahit logbook na lang ang kulang ko sa mga requirements, I find it difficult to fill it up in the proper way..Natural po na may mga activities na nagooverlap sa work. Di naman po kasi iisang type of work lang ang ginagawa per day or per week especially pag sa isang malaking company ka ngwowork. Usually, you perform several activities for several projects over an indefinite span of time..

    Question 1:
For example, I am doing one activity right now, after 3 hours iba uli, and then you went for an inspection on site and pagbalik mo sa office ibang activity na naman ang gngawa mo..Ano po ba yung pinkaefficient na paraan ng pglagay ng entry sa logbook?

    Question 2:
If i am working on several projects at the same time, pano rin ang best na paglagay ng entry sa logbook? Nagpacheck kc ako sa review center where I am enrolled ng draft ng logbook ko and nabanggit na hindi allowed yung nagooverlap na dates..Kailngan segregated and sequential IF possible..Ano po ba yung tama?..Please enlighten me on this one.,

Question 3: Allowed ba mag add ng photocopy ng table sa logbook pag hindi nagkasya dun sa apat na tables na provided?..

Thank you, I hope maclear po yung mga questions ko since kahit simpleng bagay lang sya nabobother ako ng husto..

What if the RLA is based overseas, is he qualified to sign if he is working in an architectural firm abroad? there is this dt form 002 annex A, wherein the mentor have to fill in the projects and locations, if the RLA has no projects in the philippines yet and he started immediately overseas, how can he fill up and sign this annex A?

    Thank you.

Thank you
